Blue Pea

Green teas are made from Camellia sinensis leaves — the same plant behind most teas you know. They contain a small amount of natural caffeine, giving you a light, focused energy without the jitters and palpitations. Some of our green teas are blended with botanicals like rose petals, jasmine flowers, peppermint, and Ayurvedic herbs for added flavour and benefit.

Flower infusions contain no tea leaves at all. They are made entirely from dried flowers and herbs — chamomile, hibiscus, blue pea, lemongrass. Completely caffeine-free, gentle on the body, and perfect for any time of day including right before bed.

The simplest way to think about it — green teas give you a light lift. Flower infusions give you calm and colour.

Both are 100% natural. No preservatives, no added colours, no artificial flavours. Just real ingredients.

Yes and no. And here's the honest answer.

If you're replacing your daily cup of meethi chai with green tea, yes, it will very likely help. That's simple calorie deficit. You're cutting out the sugar and milk and replacing it with something clean and light. Over time, that adds up.

But if you're adding green tea on top of everything you already consume and hoping it melts the fat away — that's not how it works. Nothing additional you consume will help you lose weight. That's just biology.

What green tea does contain are antioxidants called catechins and a small amount of caffeine, both of which can mildly support metabolism. But the keyword is mildly. Green tea is not a shortcut and it's not a miracle. It's a genuinely good habit that works well alongside other good habits: better food choices, movement, sleep, and hydration.

Think of it as a clean, light swap that earns its place in your day. Not a solution on its own. But a really good start.

We are FSSAI certified, which means our products meet the food safety standards set by the Government of India.

But beyond certification, here's what actually happens before your tea reaches you. Our vendors hand-clean the teas at source. When they arrive at our facility, every batch goes through hand sieving to remove any impurities, followed by sun drying, UV drying, and IR treatment. We treat your tea the same way you'd treat food you're cooking at home: with care, cleanliness, and zero shortcuts.

Not at all. We'd say this even if it weren't true, because it is.

All you need is a strainer, hot water, and about five minutes. Every product page on our website has a detailed step-by-step brew guide with the exact temperature and steep time for that specific tea. Green teas and flower infusions brew differently, so we've made sure the instructions are specific, not generic.

If you're completely new and not sure which tea to start with, our sample pack is made for exactly this moment. It lets you try before committing to a full tin - no guesswork, no wasted money.

Tea bags are convenient, but most of them contain dust and fanning of the tea that brew fast but lose a lot of the flavour and nutrition along the way. Some tea bags also use plastic mesh that can leach microplastics into your brew.

Loose leaf keeps the flower or leaf whole which means better flavour, more nutrition, and nothing you didn't ask for in your cup.

We also include a free tea strainer in every box so you have everything you need from day one.

This is one of the most common questions we get, and the honest answer is: Green tea would probably not keep you up at night.

Here's why. Green tea does contain caffeine, but the amount is so small that for most people it will not disrupt sleep. A typical cup of coffee has around 80 to 100mg of caffeine. A cup of green tea has roughly 20 to 30mg — sometimes less, depending on how long you steep it and at what temperature. That's a fraction of what you'd get from your morning coffee.

That said, if you are particularly sensitive to caffeine and want to be safe, our flower infusions are completely caffeine-free.

In fact, some of them don't just avoid disrupting your sleep, they actively support it. Chamomile is one of the most well-known natural sleep aids. Chamomile Lemongrass combines that calming effect with gentle digestion support. Both are made for exactly the kind of quiet, unhurried evening you deserve.

So the short answer: green tea before bed is fine for most people. But if you want a cup that actively helps you wind down, our flower infusions are where you want to be.

Most tea brands will tell you they're natural, premium, and sourced from the best farms. So will we. But here's what's actually different about Tulsyam.

We are a young brand built with one conscious decision from day one — to not just sell tea, but to bring India's botanical wisdom into your everyday ritual without dressing it up in unnecessary claims or complicated health language. Every blend we make has two to four ingredients at most. No fillers, no artificial flavours, no added colours. Just whole flowers, whole leaves, and botanicals India has trusted for centuries.

We also process every batch ourselves — hand sieving, sun drying, UV drying, and IR treatment — so what reaches you is as clean as food cooked at home. That's not standard in the industry. For us it's non-negotiable.
